  • Misty Thicket Picnic Baskets

Does any vendor sell the basket? This would help since am doing other skills and just added a new character. Do have someone to make them I hope but if sold by vendor can get through this last part quickly.

Nobody sells them but they are pretty easy. Also used as an early skill up path for tailoring. Maybe find a newbie that wants to do tailoring and offer to fund them in return for the finished product?

FYI, when you do one combine of the picnic basket, if you are successful, it yields 10 Picnic Baskets.

NPCs only sell it if a player sold some to the NPC first. Check the NPC merchants, especially the ones near the loom in PoK, and also the smithing and alchemy merchants nearby. I stockpiled picnic-baskets while I was vendor-diving and didn't have to weave any mandrake roots or make any steel bonings, hehe.

Yes, stackable. All of the subcombines for the MTPs yield 10 (or 12 in the case of the sandwiches. I think they did that just to screw up our numbers) and are stackable.

That doesn't screw up my numbers, I do 3 stacks of ingredients in a run (60 of each).

Sigh. I remember having enough bag/bank space to do that once, when I was level 4, I think. These days, if I can clear one whole bag at a time without giving up the slot I use for the collapsed containers, I'm lucky. When I bulled my way to 300, I dumped three bags out on a mule just so I could manage that many combines at a time.

I felt...strange when I was done and the last stacks of picnics were put away on my trader. I had three whole bags open, and I wasn't within four or five stones of my encumbrance limit for the first time in nearly a year. Maybe the accusations of "packrat" have some merit...nah.

Well, I lucked out, a friend made a ton of them for me and brewing my jumjum beer for me.

My next questions is - Since they raised the triv to 335 for these does that mean I have to go all the way to 335 to cap or is 300 good.

Not even sure what title will be, Master or Grandmaster.

Did my spoon if that has any weight in all this baking.

It is fun for me but have made another toon which now makes 3.

Want to spend sometime doing their skills and move them up. One is a Ranger so Fletching for her and the new one is an Enchanter and didn't realize when making it that really takes a bit of time for paper and rune research and jewelry making.

No complaints, just want my one to finish her baking and then make things that she wants to make, not what has to be made to get her further along.

So, at 300 will I be a Master or Grandmaster? or is it now 335 to be a Master or Grandmaster?

                  Thanks

ROFL thought No, No. Sorry, havent read all the posts so did not know which was which. Okay. question then. If cap is 300 why did they put Mist Baskets at 335? and good, if 300 almost there. Cant ever tell any more since lately they keep changing everything.

                        Picnic trivial

Misty Picnics have been a 335 trivial since the day they were first added to the game. All of the items used in the combine for the earring where 335, recently the robe was dropped down to 252 and its possible that the other items used in that quest will be lowered as well. They seem to have decided that they are too easy to skill up on.

Best max the skill before the next big patch.

You know, if they are going to change trivials based on the difficulty of making, they really shouldn't lower misty thickets. They have so many subcombines it's crazy. A run takes forever to make. As a matter of fact, I think they should *raise* the trivial on Halas Meat Pies. First you've got to hunt those stupid meats, and then you've got all those subcombines (we won't discuss hunting eggs, which is just annoying).
