  • Need Ideas To Get to 300

Am at 250 right now and need to get to the end 300. However, most receipes have odd to obtain ingredients. Drake meat, coarse salt, Memphit meat, etc.

Especially hard to buy is coarse salt and take it that cannot use a sub? Any suggestions

    Thanks

I agree, MTP's are probably the easiest way to get baking to 300. You can make vegetable now so no foraging and fruits are usually common in bazaar (usually 1gp each on Vazaelle bazaar) and you can get lots of basilisk eggs from the basilisk cave in Jaggedpine (near Nedaria zone, north of the building) I had 5 full stacks of basilisk eggs after just one hour

Everything else are NPC bought and all but one are readily available in almost any zones, the one being Jumjum Stalks in Shadowhaven.

Still need brownie parts, but they go a long way due to high yields.

I did 262-300 in 1 night with MTPs and only needed about 4 (maybe 5) Brownie parts. If you are high level then go to their villiage in Lfay or if you are low level then outside the minotaur caves in Steamfront is good. They are more random there, but only level 12ish.

I'm doing planar fruit pies to 282 then probably MTPs but I'm also saving any mushrooms and coarse salt from DoN in the meantime. But then I have access to two 200 foragers so planar fruits are easy for me to obtain.

I checked all the options - looked at my stockpiles - had 34 brownie parts.

That determined me on MTPs - got from 250 -300 in one session.

Dumped a lot in guild bank - gave a lot away - destroyed most.

Thanks. Tell me, why does it say 302? and what is title now at 300? Master Chef and that is the cap correct? The spoon is made but that is independent and has no influence in the cap title?

Reason for asking is that I thought it would be Master at 250 and Grandmaster at 300 with or without the spoon.

My 65 Pally is the baker. Well, will look into MTP.

The spoon adds 5% skill. You can go beyond 300 with the spoon, but you won't get the title until your ACTUAL skill reaches 300. The trick is always to find the recipe that becomes green when using a GM toy but is higher then your current skill level. You can go up to 315 with the GM toy (or a geerlok) so it is worth it to have one.

The Title at 300 is "Master".

I've gone from 250 to 281 so far almost exclusively on jord meat pies (triv 282). On my server (Lanys) jord meat is just about the most common meat found on PoT and PoK vendors, and the simplicity of the recipe (just meat, dough and a pie tin) makes it a winner in my book.
