  • Coarse Salt

Well, looks like I need a lot of it. See that it is in Lavaspinner? Broodlands and it is a drop.

Does no one sell it and if not, how hard is it for a 65 Pally to get to one of the drop spots and survive and do not know where any of these places are and Thanks!

also foraged i belive, but the forage table is HUGE in DoN ... may take a litle while to collect a decent number.

It is both dropped and foraged. Getting any specific item foraging is scretchy at best. Mob drops seem to be almost as common if not more so on a time basis as foraging. Vendor farming has yields me more then either of the other 2 combined.

On another note, the lavastorm vendor on patch days is a gold mine. I have gotten anything from coarse salt and scale ore on up to metallic drake scales on the vendor at the druid rings. She fills up quick though, so timing is everything.

Where is she/he located in Lavastorm? or do you remember name. I have two toons level 65 Pally and 42 Ranger. Would like to take Ranger because of the foraging of things there and tracking abilities. The salt on MR is going for 50 to 100P each. Just bought some last night. Hehe, would like not to pay those prices.

The vendor is at the druid circle. I believe the southeast corner of the zone? My druid is currently bound at broodlands zone line, so I haven't ported in there in a few weeks.

The vendor is also easily killed to clean her out when only junk is left, not that I would do that or anything

What level is the vendor? I will have to try disintigrating her. I wish I could disintigrate the PoK vendors.

Oh my, I never thought to kill that silly druid. Was gonna go to bed, but think I will go smash her first.

What I'd like to see foraged in EVERY zone is:
                  Water
                  Roots
                  Vegetables
                  Fruit
                  Berries

                  Special_Zone_Forage_02
                  Special_Zone_Forage_03
                  END OF FORAGE TABLE
NO, REALLY, END OF FORAGE TABLE

Please stop it with the 1432 different useless pieces of foraged garbage.
Foraging in GoD zones is making me ill, more so than foraging in the OoW zones. If I see another Twisted Tuber, i'm gonna.... shut up and live with it I guess.
Oh yeah.... Bastion of Thunder forages... /vomit.
A level 62 or flagged zone and you get Rain Water, wow Splitpaw gnoll quality stuffs for sure.... risk/reward.
Don't get me started on the thunder stones.
I'm saving my "ice cream is retarded risk/reward cost/benefit" rant for later, after I've come out of fletching therapy.
I won't mention having to kill ferans for a +5 sv ice cream item, versus having to kill a level 5 brownie in Gfay to make Misty Thicket Picnics, which make ice cream as relatively appealing as mud pies.
/em snarls as he slams shut the fletching kit and stomps off to his overflowing bank

P.S. Most of these rants never get sent.... I'm letting this one through!!

                  Donbayne 65 ranger
                  210 fletching
140+ in a cpl of others
                  Donbayne 72 ranger

Cons Light Blue to a 65 Necro. Died very quickly.

Anyone know the respawn on her, would hate to think I'd screwed up anyone selling to her for more than a few minutes.

I'm a woodeld druid.. so I can't kill her directly, but I can dot her down and zone to Nektulos for example. Repop looks to be around half an hour. It's no problem tho, over the little hill to SW of her is a camp with 3 vendors you can sell to.

Does anyone know what faction hits does she give? I don't dare to try myself and all my alts are also woodelves

The forage tables are too large in my opinion too. Decided to help guild shaman and forage some draconic essence or something like that.. Whole night raiding DoN - foraged 1 draconic essence in 5 hours, 1 coarse salt and 1 scale ore. It's much more productive to just buy them off vendors when you see them. Then again, while I have got two stacks of coarse salt this way, I have yet to see any draconic essence or scale ore.
