Wax Candles

Wax candles are no drop items on Lucy, vendor price of 2sp 2 cp. Anyone know what vendor sells them by chance? I am itching to try that breakfast basket.

Dok (pos 224, pos 272), a general supply vendor in Halas sells wax candles. They are marked with the tradeskill flag and sell for 2 silver 6 copper. Non-stackable and no-drop.

Go figure I am KoS in Halas, I am extremely unhappy at this very moment. Thank for the reply.

Make a barb alt, have them buy the candles and pass them to you through the shared bank.

If all your slots are full and all of them are KOS to Halas, I'm sure you could pay 5 pp to a newbie and they would fetch them for you.

Try using a barbarian illusion potion? Or maybe drag an enchanter along with you who can barbarianize you there in the zone.

What class/race are you? If you have any innate sneak ability you can buy from behind. I do that all the time since I'm Halfling.

I am a dark elf cleric, I do have the froglok illusion stone, but i thought they removed faction adjustments from illusions or did they change it back. I will check to see if it works or maybe try share wolf form and see if that works.

BTW not only am I diety KoS, I have killed a barb or 20

Just FYI, Halas LOVES me but one little wolf form illusion and I was pounded to the dirt. Be very very careful what guards you use illusions around

Faction adjustments for PC races still work as they always have. What they changed was the npc illusions (elementals, werewolf, scarecrow, etc). The only exception to this is wolf (which does make you kos to the halas guards still). As I recall, there are only merchants in that room (never kos), so you should be able to invis your way in there and pop an illusion inside.

My froggy illusion stone made me apprehensive to the vendors. For any other dark elves or evil peeps, it is part of the quest for the illusion guktan spell. The stone has one charge but the NPC will recharge unlimited times it for free, you give it to him empty and he gives it back charged calling you a moron etc for wasting the first charge)

Up Halas Faction

there is a quest you can do. Collect Gnoll Fangs for turn in to warrior guild leader. If you can be non KoS to her to start then you can turn in gnoll fangs for more faction to get out of KoS. I did that for my druid that killed barbs for exp long ago so vendors would not talk to me. Did quest few times and now I can buy sell to them.

BTW tried to make breakfast gift basket too. Said cannot combine items in oven on Quellious server.

Have you tried the tradeskill boat? Seems so many things are there as well as in obscure places...
