Hmm... this looks interesting. How rare is the drop on the Moonstone Crystal, and what would it sell for in Bazar? I seriously doubt PoI is soloable, so probably gonna hafta do it the expensive way lol.

I see them on merchants all the time... they are not very rare.

Moonstones drop like crazy in PoI, yeah just check vendors, think the only other use is for glaze to make the hammer of innovation, which really isn't worth thr trouble anymore, or find a Gnome pet class working on Tinkering and forage grease for them while he famrs the other drops. Don't have to be a gnome really, my Erud Necro farms for my gnome Mage.

so, can anyone verify that palm leaves are in game and droppable? i was just searching in the buyer window on tribunal, and i see "palm leaf oil" but not the "palm leaf" it's made from.

I can verify that Palm Leaf is in-game as a forage in both PoE and PoEB (Vegarlson, the Earthen Badlands and Raggrax, Stronghold of the Twelve). I think I have a little over half a stack sitting in the bank somewhere.

I foraged about 24 palm leaves in PoEarthB a few weeks ago. Took a long time too, so the palm leaves appear to be the bottleneck of this recipe, I have over a hundred of all the other components.

However, it's nice that those 20 or so leaves made 80ish salads, since each combine doubles. Now I just need to forage more leaves, which is harder since only one of my chars has EarthA/B access.

Um, don't you get 8 salads from 1 leaf (or any other ingredient) with no failures (after all the combines) - yields are 2x2x2?

Anyhow, I was happy to find 25 palm leaves on a vendor, especially nice since am not elemental.

Yeah right sorry, looks like I got 160 combines out of the 20 leaves I foraged, I only have had the chance to do 80 combines so far, I forgot I offloaded half of the final 2 components to a mule.

so, is it the correct conclusion that if i cannot see 'palm leaf' in the /buyer window on the tribunal then no one on the tribunal has ever foraged a 'palm leaf'? is there any alternative conclusion?

Toborlas and Thimble were kind enough to give me some pine fruit and palm leaves so I could make the salad.
I can categorically state that, despite having both items in inventory at the time, they failed to appear when searched for using the /buyer interface.

that's interesting. i see 'speckled pine fruit' now in the /buyer window on tribunal (and i bought some from a trader a few days ago). is it the case that items don't appear in the /buyer list until they've first been offered in /trader?

I was just smithing some DoN GM terror symbols for a friend, and they didnt show up on /buyer search *before* I made them... yet as I made them he said they appeared!

I just did another foraging run for palm leaves last night and this time was much better, got almost 60 leaves in around 8 hours, so it's not a terrible rate, just takes a lot longer to get a good quantity, moreso than any of the other forages since I could get 100 heartfruit in less time.
