  • Bristlebanes Party Platter Recipe Learnable

My hungry halfling accidentally ate one of his Bristlebanes Party Platters recently. So he decided to put together a couple more just in case. He discovered that he had learned the recipe after he successfully made some. I was surprised (but pleased) that this quest recipe had been made learnable.

This was changed in the previous patch. There are several quest recipes that are no learnable.

I knew that some quest item recipes (which are used for skilling up) were made learnable. I was just surprised that the party platter (not a recipe I imagine many people would use for skilling up) was one of the recipes made learnable since they are No Drop. Most bakers would only use this recipe once since it yields two party platters -- one for the quest and one to keep.

It would be great if the No Drop flag was removed, since this is one of the best stat foods (if not the best) available.

Not particulary, whilst Baking isn't particulary hard to get maxed it is nice that for those who put the effort of TSing in get the best stat food to have.
Making it droppable cheapens it and opens it to twinking and people who haven't touched TS at all

Very true. But from a roleplaying aspect, my halfling would love to be able to share his god's gift with his friends.

True, that would be nice. It's a case of the lesser evils on this one, just remembered it's used for Aid Grimel too, no end TS required parts were made droppable on that.

Perhaps more stat foods similar in difficulty/trivial to the party platter will appear in the new expansion, would be a welcome addition I should think.
