  • Detailed Baggage & Item list for MTPs?

I'm a 193 baker atm. I plan on doing MTPs to skill up to 250, and to eat myself. I do have a few questions, though.

I've looked through the FAQ, and did a search of this forum, but couldn't find a detailed list of what I need to know.

What exactly do I need in my bags - from start to finish, all combines, subcombines, empty spaces - to make MTPs and *never* need to bank or sell, with as *little* left over as possible? Here's what I'd start with:

    Nine (9) 10-slot bags
    • One Dairy Spoon
    • One Cake Round
    • 88 empty slots

    One (1) Four-slot Mixing Bowl

Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks, as always.

There's a ton of info in the sticky thread here:

    http://mboards.eqtraders.com/eq/showthread.php?t=44

I believe the second post has a shopping list of stuff you need to buy (or otherwise acquire) for 100 attempts, from which you can derive the needed slot requirements.

Also, remember that you can only carry 8 bags at a time, unless you count one on your cursor, or consider the oven a bag too. Normally, people will consider seven 10-slot bags and one mixing bowl to be the normal "load" for MTP, and that's not taking into account other stuff you may have in those bags.

If you're going to make your own mandrakes and baskets, you might want to consider getting a ten-slot Deluxe Sewing Kit. Although they're no longer vendor sold, they are given out as prizes in the SH casino, and they do have a token for selling in the bazaar (via Caerlyna). If you can get your hands on one, it would prolly simplify life for you.

Also remember that with the new UI, you can have stuff in a bag, and still right-click it to do combines using the new UI. This is effectively an increase in space over the old (manual) system.

Err, yeah, I meant 7 bags and a mixing bowl, sorry.

In that case, I revise my inventory:
      • Six 10-slot bags
        • One Dairy Spoon
        • One Cake Round
        • 58 empty slots
      • One 8-slot Coldain Sewing Kit
      • One 4-slot mixing bowl

I was just wondering if anyone ever calculated this themselves. I know that the 2nd post on the sticky FAQ has a shopping list for 100 combines; I'm not sure whether that leaves empty space or extra leftovers in your inventory. I want to maximize my return while minimizing my leftovers. (Wish I could think of a technical word, besides 'leftovers'.)

Maybe if I'm bored at work today I'll work it out myself. Hehe.

Again, thanks for all the help.

      Cheers.
