New 250 Baker on Innoruuk server

I finally made it, after enough Misty Thicket Picnics to bury Antonica. At least Norrath has been well fed during my time learning baking. Now Expert Chef Eogh Nved is ready to take on the rest. Currently I've got 200 in Brewing and Fletching (and at level 39 that's as high as they go.) Jewelcraft is somewhere around 175 and the last three are lagging a bit. (Tailoring is the lowest at 101.) Prepare room for me in the asylum.

So, did you do MTPB from 220 up to 250?
I am stuck at 222 and think i need to go to MTPB, but the trivial at 335 or whatever it is, makes me wonder. Would love to know how you got from 220 up to the magic 250

Oh and grats to you. I know how happy I'll be once i hit it

While I have not recently skilled up to 250 baking on my main (hit that about a year and a half ago), I am at 245 or so on another chr (lvl 46 froglok pally). The skillup route I took on my main had kinda assorted recipes, halas pies to 226, with the occasional batch of picnics thrown in (didnt really like the failure rate I was getting, so I didn't concentrate on them fully), did quite abit of PoP recipes, planar fruit pies (justice fruit pies back then), hero sandwiches, blood raven stew, whatever I had parts for, as well as quite abit of holy cake. Actually hit 250 with planar fruit pies. Now for my pally, I used halas pies to get to 226, did maybe 100 or so picnic combines (really didn't like the skillups there), so I started doing the GoD souffles from there, and got from 226 to 245 (or there abouts, not exactly sure, but I know she's not at 250 yet), with the various souffle recipes (started with lemon-buttered, and garlic-buttered, moved up to beer-based and beer-battered, which I'll still be doing when I feel like foraging up another massive stock of vegetables.

I actually started picnics around 208 or so. Since I don't forage and can't farm higher level zones I had some supply issues with a few of the Gates of Discord baking recipes. I worked them in whenever supplies permitted though, so my work wasn't all one recipe. The main hurdle in working with the MTPs so long was disposal of the finished product. Each success makes four picnics, so I filled up my bags quickly. Luckily the hungry folks on my server were willing to visit me in the Bazaar to take them off my hands. That's what financed my advancements in Jewelcraft and Fletching.
