250! And some skillup data.

Made 250 tonight, to grandmaster my second tradeskill. I think I'll polish off brewing next (Since it's another easy skill), and then tackle smithing (Bleh). Anyhow, here's some statistics on how I got there.

Got to 200 with a combination of things. Never kept track. Mostly done before the JPF patch, though. I didn't record how many combines between skillups. Rather, I just kept a record every time I sat down to do some combines, noted how many combines I'd done and how many skillups I'd made.

Round 1: HMP's - 126 combines. 5 skillups.
Round 2: Cheese Casserole - 115 combines. 1 skillup.
Round 3: MTP's. 80 combines - 1 skillup.
Round 4: MTP's. 110 combines - 4 skillups
Round 5: MTP's. 200 combines - 9 skillups
Round 6: MTP's. 180 combines - 4 skillups
Round 7: MTP's. 190 combines - 7 skillups
Round 8: MTP's. 180 combines - 11 skillups
Round 9: Hero Sandwiches. 113 combines - 2 skillups
Round 10: MTP's: 126 combines - 6 skillups.

Total combines - 1620.
Average combines per skillup - 32.4

Of course these numbers mean very little, but I thought I'd post them.

Just to add a note, I was level 64 for all of this, and my wisdom was 270. I didn't use a geerlock until round 4.

In the process of selling the goods I came out about 30,000pp ahead (I sold around 350 HMP's (At 4pp ea), 1400 or so MTP's at 15pp ea, and 80-odd hero sandwiches at 100pp each. On our server the MTP's go for 25pp each in bazaar, which I find outrageous. I undercut the other vendors by 10pp, and they did most of my work for me by buying out my stock every night to maintain their fixed prices. Oh well. I have cash in hand, and now they have more stock than they'll ever move.
