As a monk who absolutely hates to farm, what is the best and quickest way to move past patty melts and on to 200? I will worry about >200 after I get the spare AA's to spend. Any ideas would be welcome.

If you go to the Home page and select Learn A Skill -> Baking -> Guide to Power Baking, you may find an answer. Remember that most ingredients are available in quantity in Bazaar if you have the plat. Good luck.
P.S. Gates recipes are good (lots of trivial levels all the way to 250) and if you don't fish/forage, you can usually vendor mine to get the crab/tuna/hynid/cragbeast meat needed.

As Aamdor said, the GoD recipies are good if you can get the stuff for the Sauces.
With my Paladin, I bit the bullet and bought tons of Jord Meat, Vann Toes, Griffon & Anaconda Meats & all kinds of things that triv over 250.
Yeah, it was a rough road and fairly expensive... but I was swimming in cash at the time.
And now I'm broke again, with new Smithing stuff available!

Well... I just got done with 200 Halas meat pie combos, got 5 skill ups
Is this normal? My INT is 315, high as I can get it as a human monk. Was I just unlucky or is 1 skill up for 40 combines what I should expect? Can't remember any other skill at this level that was giving this kind of result.
