Sounds like a broken/missing recipe - in all my time in the plains of Karana, I have never ever seen one centaur part drop, and I've decimated the southern plain many times in search of Quillmane. A quick check on Lucy shows nothing in the way of centaur parts either.

There's a centaur chops item listed in lucy. Possibly a UI mined item that isn't makeable becaue the parts don't exist in game. Or possibly a GM or guide summoned item.

"Centi Meat" and "Centi Toes" drop from Crag Li's in the ME district but I have enver seen the centaur parts in Karana's.

Centi's are a totally different type of mob than Centaurs. Centi meat and toes are used to make centi toe stew and centi steaks, as can be easily seen from a search on the main site. These would not be used to make centaur chops.

The only centaurs that I can recall from pop are from PoJ, isn't there that one centaur in the jail there?

My intention by naming the Centi Meat was to maybe see if he was mistaking the two drops, hence the use of quotation marks around the suggested names. The mob in the first tier PoJ does not drop Centaur Meat. I haven't seen any mob in PoJ drop anything race or class specific because they are on a different faction table specifically tied to PoJ faction tables, they usually don't drop anything specific to themselves if on zone faction unless it's a quest mob.

And if anything he could have used the main site here to check instead of at Alla's since the question was asked here. You can also find drop information under Ingredients, then Baking, then search through the zones. There use to be a racial meat drop chart here I had printed out a while ago, years ago actually, but I can't find it now. Maybe finding him alink to it would be better.

The Centaur Chops recipe shows up in the recipe list on ovens in-game. Allakhazam and Lucy could get the information from the oven, it wouldn't need to be 'UI mined". EQItems shows the stats for Centaur Parts too, presumably from the oven. But centaur parts still don't drop in-game.

It makes an interesting dilemma... should the Centaur Chops recipe be listed on EQTraders? In one sense it's an in-game recipe, in another sense it's not.

I'm almost positive I saw Centaur parts on a merchant when I was vendor diving yesterday, only I don't remember which merchant.

Since my baking is at 300, and bag space was limited, I guess I just skipped over it and didn't register that it was a new drop.
