Hi all, recently I've been working up baking. My recipe of choice is misty thicket picnic baskets. I know there may be some downsides to this, particularly the insane amount of sub combines and free space requirements. But for me the good points more then justify the work involved. The biggest problem for me however was figuring out exactly what I needed. I always seemed to have left over sub combines to complicate the matter, plus too much of this or not enough of that, it was a pain, doable, but still being the programmer that I am I had to come up with a better way. Which is why I made this spreadsheet.
What it does:
Basically input all your components. Everything from raw materials (fruit, veggies, brownie parts, eggs) to uncompleted sub combines (cakes, marmalade, woven mandrake). Then click a button and your done. It will tell you how many combines you'll attempt, what components you'll have left over, what you need to buy (buyable components only, it never assumes you can or will buy any of the drop or foraged components) and how much you'll end up spending.
Another option is to calculate all this to zero out a raw component. Lets say for example you just want to get rid of all your fruit. Input all your components like normal, select fruit and click a button. Just like above it will show you all that information plus what you need to get to zero that component out in the form of a negative component.
Well here it is, free for all who want it. Do enjoy and please let me know if you have any problems with it or ideas.
Also the program uses macros to perform the calculations. So in order to run the program you'll have to have the macros enabled.
