  • Baking skill over 200?

    Hello,

I checked the FAQ and did some searches in the forum areas but couldn't find an answer.... So here's hoping one of you brainy people can help answer this

I have a level 31 Wood Elf Druid with a 255 Wisdom. I got his baking skill up to 200 last night but can't seem to break past that. I'm making Beer-Battered Tuna/Crab rolls and must have done 300+ combines last night without a skillup. Am I just having a run of bad luck or is it capped at 200 until I reach a certain level? I know that one of the trade skills can be over 200 up to a cap of 250 but this is my highest tradeskill, no other is even near 200.

Also is 200 considered "Grandmaster" or is 250?

    Thanks for any insight

    -Mark

    Oops Nevermind!

Guess it was just bad luck. I did another 80 combines and got 3 skill increases in that set. So answered my own question! Thanks!

It is easier to get skill ups when your major attribute is as close to 355 as possible. I realize that you may want to raise a skill prior to being able to raise your major attribute above 255. However, if you plan to level the character it may be prudent to wait a bit before any major skill up runs - especially using hard-to-get items.
