  • racial meat spots

be nice if people give advise on where to farm racial meats.

I have found Crushbone to be very nice. you have a total of 13 mobs that randmly spawn as : dwarf/highelf/woodelf. theese can be farmed pretty early on aswell. Tehy give faction hits to respective home cities. so this be best done by evil aligned peeps.

also a named gnome who drops gnome parts. but he a bit tougher he even have his own pet.
Note: Due to a hand injury caused by a friend throwing a broken scissor into my hand my typing = crap. So dotn be so critical.

A nice spot with many different racial types is the Gunthak area near the Dulak zone line and the whole of the Dulak area. Gnomes, Dark Elves, Erudites, Trolls, Humans ... a veritible cornucopia of morsels for the perveyor of racial meats.

The dark dungeon of Befallen can also provide a selection of dark elf and gnome necromancers who have a habit of leaving bits of themselves.

I think the bandits in Gfay drop woodelf parts, dwarven bandits in BB drop dwarf meat & blood...

I know that Crag Spiders in EK drop halfling parts, and Lockjaw in Oasis drops 2-3 racial meats (usually 1 gnome, 1 halfling, perhaps 1 dark elf?)

DEs in najena drop Dark Elf parts.

Not to mention, after more than 9 hours (BORING) of watching a level 27 necro and pet tear the prisoners in Crushbone up, and killing dozens of high elf prisoners, and not getting high elf meats...

HE and Vah Shir are by far the hardest of the racial meats to get, which makes them high demand/low supply for alchemists making illusion potions.

AFAIK, the only source for HE meat is the prisoners in CB, and the only source for the Vah Shir is that remote spot nobody ever goes to for rockhoppers. So finding either of the meats for sale in bazaar is a lucky day.

Torgiran Mines does yield some racial meats, but if that is what you are looking for, Dulak has better drop rate and a much wider variety. Most common meats I get in Torgiran are erudite and human -- never Iksar or ogre, for example. Drop rate is also low.

Haha we must be hunting in different parts of the mines Zera (BTW LOVE the Smithing guide) I don't think I get iksar in the mines, but I do get HE, gnome, halfling, and.. troll? also get the bloods, but not as often as the meats. I spent 6 hours there recently killing the crazed miners TRYING to pop a human male one for a turn in (LOY Bard song) and never once got human.

I said "most common". I do get halfling and HE and gnome occasionally, but erudite and human are the most common.

I thought that was only the Carrions, but I'm not sure.

Yup, it's only the carrions. For quite a while, silk and pelts from EK were my main sources of income. After killing THAT many crag and carrion spiders....
