• Honeycomb - the Bixie drop, not the cereal!

Ok,
I know I may ask a lot of questions that seem dumb to some of you folks with god-like tradeskills, but I'm trying to get more educated about these topics... ops:
I've looked what seems like everywhere for a use for the Bixie drop, Honeycomb, and can't find one. I figured it would be used by brewers for Mead, as honey is the main constituent, but no. If anyone knows of a use for it, other than as a cash item, please let me know what it is and where to find it!
Also, I've been tossing a few theoretical recipes in my posts, in the hopes that some uber-tradeskillers or curious dabblers may try them if they haven't already. I'm not trying to waste peoples' time, just posting some ideas that I and others might like to try. They're theoretical, so the items aren't pat as to what the end result may contain, if these even work in the end at all.
So, here's one more to play with:

Bag of Canyar Nuts OR Heartfruit Walnut (both foraged), Honeycomb (Bixie drop in EC), Clump of Dough, Spit/Oven = Baclava (or something similar)

Bon Apetit!

Hey, looky here, I have an answer to a question.

Being that my first character, way back when, was an enchanter, I can tell you that the honeycomb is a side quest for the Stein of Moggok, Exotic Drinks. You turn 3 of them in to Lil Honeybugger, in Rivervale, along with 30 gold pieces (or just 3pp for all you non-roleplaying people ) and you receive the Honey Jum.

EDIT: Cleaning up my code...
