Strangeness with GoD meats

Ok, according to the recipes on this site, GoD baking requires crab, hynid, cragbeast and tuna meat which has been "broken down" from 1lb pieces into Tuna/Crab/Etc Meat, correct?

I admit, I haven't tested the recipes out yet because I haven't gotten the stuff for my subcombines and am holding off on further baking until I spend the AA to get past 200, but when I took the tuna and crab that I fished yesterday and the cragbeast I foraged (and how cool is foraging 5 and 14lb cragbeast pieces and 5 lb hynid pieces?) and broke them down into 1lb pieces, they still had the tradeskill flag on them. But when I broke the 1lb pieces down into "Meat" it no longer had the "this item can be used in tradeskills" flag on it, it simply said it was a meal/snack. Haven't checked out the hynid, but this was definitely the case with the crab, tuna, and cragbeast. All of them lost their tradeskill flag when broken down into meat.

Is this a bug? Or are the recipes wrong? Do we use 1lb pieces, or the meat yielded from the 1lb pieces?

from what i can tell (not having done the combines myself) most recipes use the 1lb pieces. i think i remember seeing one that used a xxx meat, but i don't remember which it was, sorry.

Um... 'saucing' definitely uses the meat, not the 1lb pieces. Well ok let me be specific: to make buttered tuna/crab/hynid you need butter sauce and crab MEAT/tuna MEAT/hynid MEAT.

Husband and I played with new baking last night. He fished and got tuna and crab. I foraged and got hynid and cragbeast. We broke them all down into 1 pounders. Then again to X meat. We did this for all 4 types. We then sauced all of our meats and it worked fine. The tag was left off apparently, didn't look or notice it myself. I would /bug which items the tradeskill tag is missing from so they can fix it.
