Figures on MTP's to grand mastery

New 250 baker with trophy on Firiona Vie. I made Misty Thicket Picnics from 200-250 and thought I'd post my results so others could know what to expect.

All combines were done with 305 wisdom (288 unbuffed + bardsong). I didn't think to keep track of successes and failures.

Total of 1563 combines, or 31.26 combines per skillup.

From 200-224 I averaged 41.68 combines per skillup; from 225 onward the average dropped to 20.84. The notion of "hell levels" pre-225 or so seems borne out by these figures, but I could've just been unlucky for that stretch.

Spent about 3k platinum on the combines and easily made it back on sales. The real toll this path takes is on your wrist and your mouse; looks like I'm gonna need both of them repaired =P

me I got 200 baking on MTP my route is to make enough of the subcombines to attempted 20 combines
my wis is 280 unbuffed but I lose a couple of points caz I arm my geelock to make the suckers
I'm only average 2-3 success on the picnics themselves and no skillups, but it sure as hell beat, beating my head againest a wall making halas meat pies

All of this was done with 285 int, without Geerlok
Total of 1592 combines, 33.17 attempts per skillup.

I also noticed that the first half (202 - 225) required me 925 combines, while the second half "only" had 690.

To smoothen the data a bit I calculated the skill-up rates and success rates for intervals of 10 skill points. So in the following list 207, for example, represents all attempts from 202 - 212 (207 +- 5)

The success rate smoothly increased as expected, the attempts per skillup however is a bit wierd (which could be due to the relatively small data samples). The easiest 10 skillups were 230 - 240 while the hardest was 215 - 225. It's somewhat of a edgy sin/cos curve.

you have given me hope that the rng was just spitting on me and it will get better. i at 255 int atm. capped int is a little higher. went 195 combines for 3 skillups but you got close with high int/wis. hopefully may dark days are over full a while and i will get back to it. thank you

Any way we can make a sticky MTP to mastery thread? I'm trying to collect the data for a statistical analysis. Seeing if there is something to "Hell Levels" in baking.
