The drake, wurm and dragon eggs are best for noodles as they yield 3-8. So ToV, WW and SS are your best spots for those, WW being the most prolific in my findings.

Of course, if a tailor happens to hear that you are using Drake or Dragon eggs for Noodles, you are likely to meet a very unhappy tailor.

        :-)

Sell the dragon egg, and buy 6000 Snake eggs from EC,WC, and FP Merchants.

Actually I am a tailor, and I would never use the drake eggs for baking.

I personally do not feel the yeild off of the velious eggs is worth making noodles with. It just is not cost effective, especially for the non foragers out there. I honestly think you are better off going with the cheap low yeild eggs like snake, gator etc for noodles and I save those lovely Lavastorm basalisk eggs for dough.

If you are looking for a great egg drop its lavastorm hands down. The basalisks are common and enough and I have gotten up to 2 eggs on some of them on several occasions. 30 dough in one kill works for me.

Best of luck in your baking endeavors!

              where to get eggs

              Farming/Hunting - basilisks in lavastorm.

Foraging - ToV > WW, since there are fewer crap items on the ToV forage table.

Now, if only shissar eggs could be used to make clumps of dough.. it's retarded that you can make noodles with them, but not dough. Seems like a simple oversight that will never get fixed.

                Paineel

If you spend a little time there to get to know the tricks, the Paineel Newbie area can generally net you a backpack or two of snake eggs in about an hour. .

The "trick" being that everything spawns in 3's with a non-spawn radius..

Gather up all the snakes without killing 'em, drag 'em to a place where you can watch a good part of the zone, then kill them. Keep an eye out for a trio of snakes to spawn.

Once you have the spawn spot, gather up all the snakes again and stand on that spot. Kill them again.. When you step off the spawn area, the 3 snakes will spawn again. Every time you kill the last of the 3-spawn, they'll immediately respawn. There are three spawn spots for snakes.. Snakes in Paineel ususally drop 1 to 4 eggs each.

Discovered this while using the same method to do bone chips for Cabilis faction. There's a double-spawn spot for skeletons, meaning you can pop 6 at a time.

Best class to do this is a bard btw.. Pulsing AE DoT's are great.

I got many stacks of snake eggs off the snakes in Paineel while farming bone chips one day. Problem is that they do yield only one (at least on clumps of dough, not sure what you're making, may be different for noodles). Depends too on what level you can kill at. I got a few stacks of basilisk eggs one day off the critters in the caves in JP while xp'ing my druid. Some of those basilisks were dropping 3 eggs each.

Basilisks drop 0-1 eggs each, I dont think I have ever (In 2 and a half levels off of seen a regular basilisk drop an egg, but I have heard they can.

Was speaking of the reptiles in the caves in general, did not pay much attention to what variation they were. Just xp'd, and noticed a lot of eggs in my packs when I was done. I did about the same amount of levels there as you are saying, just wasn't tracking which ones as closely. Thanks for the clarification.

i'd still have to push the baskilisk eggs from JP, the MOBs that drop them are soloable by a lvl 38 (if they know what they are doing) and they yeild 15 clumps of dough. They are the highest yeilding eggs recorded so far.

if ya farm snake eggs, you have to farm 15 times as many, you have to farm almost a whole stack of snake eggs just to match 1 baskilisk egg. not to mention almost a stack of flour and almost a stack of milk.

if you are too low a level to farm the baskilisks, then go for those snakes, if you're farming greenies anywhere you go, go for the baskilisks.

Sigh - had to go down to hunt some of those suckers in Lavastorm this evening to finish off my HMPs - had the worst luck - they weren't popping worth nothing and the few that did pop refused to drop eggs - gonna send my ranger next time.
