Yield on Filleted Wolf

Wolf meat + filleting knife = 1 wolf fillet not the yield of 10 as listed under the receipe page. Mammoth meat is still yielding 10 (*phew*) dont know how long its been this way, I just got my rogues baking to 199.

Tried this lil while ago and still works .... maybe you thought it was wolf when you done a bear or lion fillet they only yield :shock:

I thought that they had nerfed, er, reduced, the yield on the various fillets to keep folks from making the massive profit of 1 silver per stack on sell back to the merchants?

They reduced the yield on the fillets from the two vendor-buyable meats (lion and bear) a while back, but not on the drop-only meats (wolf, mammoth).

I just plopped wolf meat and a filleting knife in the oven and got back 10 fillets. Are you sure you were using wolf, Peter? Or that you weren't on the fillet in cream step?

doh I think you're right denmom and it was making the fillet in cream sauce step.
Thought i had bought 6 wolf meats and I only ended up with 6 wolf in cream sauce but now i think it was probably fillets i had gotten in shop. Tried the fillet knife and wolf meat in collapsable spit, oven in thurg, bazaar, and PoK and got 10 each time.

Sorry guys, I'll remove my digital foot from my mouth for not double checking... after making a few hundred bear and lion fillet in cream sauces i was kinda glazed over.
