    Shark Meat

    The recipe for "Smoked Shark" calls for Shark Meat, but does not have info on where to get it.

    Well, I'm here ta tell ye.. you can get "Shark Meat" from the sharks at the dock in Erudin. Mostly from the "Sand sharks". I used enduring breath and me and me pet.. (o, btw, I'm a lvl 41 BL and all da sharks there con green to me) just picked them off easily. All we did was go underwater and walk along the wall on opposite side of dock and killed away...

    Added basic 'a shark' Mobs as the source for Shark Meat. Also added 'Sand Shark' as a source.

    Were there just plain 'a shark' in Erudin that dropped the meat also?

      All the Sharks drop shark meat, but it seemed that the "Sand Shark" or "a sand shark" dropped the meat the most....

        uh guys. i level my wizard from 12 to 16 there. sharks drop meat. the "diseased shark" is a quest npc that drops shark meat. if you wait till it gets to the dock and starts heading out again when you kill it between 3 and 7 "a young shark" pop. they drop meat too, and skin for a little gp.
        that is the best spot i have found for meat and skin. skin sell for gold which is nice those levels. the quest breastplate is with the deepwater knights. it sells for 2p or you can wear it if pally/cleric. it just looks kickass too.
        i dont use shark meat to cook with though. there is a quest in kelethin warrior guild (Emerald Warriors) to gather shark meat. kelethin loves me now and i never hunted orc or anything. i am still dubious to neriak factions that i have run across so it didn't hurt me there either. all in all i love erudin. its never been camped from me either.

        EDIT young shark like lv 1. diseased shark i think 6-9 maybe higher. normal sharks top at 18 and go as low as 14 that i remember. the sand sharks mentioned above are levels 5-6 if i remember right too. lv 34 now. been a while. this is making me homesick. i loved erudin.

          OK... could I get a list of the different shark mobs in Erudin then?

          a shark
          a young shark
          a diseased shark
          a sand shark

          etc....

            those are all of the ones i ever remember being bit buy or killing. if there are others they are super rare/triggered or really far out and u wont find them till your low on stamina.

                forgot to mention. sharks eat fish. can loot fresh fish off of sharks too. dont know why you'd want to cook the shark though unless you dont care about wood elf faction. even then the quest gives enough money to buy fresh fish easy. even i didn't cook them and i was going to do it for vengence of all the times they'd taken a bite out of me. /shrug
