Okay, I have a guide in the proper forum, but basically it's how to get up there without going to good places or forage. Since I'm an Iksar, I also have some pretty severe faction problems.

One fresh fish + one batwing = one fishroll. Trivs at 135, great filler food. Both are in PoK in the same stall area. From Bank, go behind the bank, keep going on past on to the far back wall. There will be a small pond there. The Tir'dal merchant sells batwings, one of the barbarian fishermen sells the fish. Bring a spit, the oven is clear on the other side of the zone.

One jug of sauces + one spices + one noodles (egg + cup of flour + water) = Pasta. Trivs at 191. You can farm eggs in any newbie zone (snake eggs) or you can go to JP Forest to harvest Basilisk Eggs which are twice as effective... you get the idea that you can farm and don't need to forage. Look up noodles in the database and it'll give you all the types of eggs that can be used as well as where the eggs may be found and how many noodles each one produces. Other than the noodles, everything is in PoK.

After that, you can make MTPs and never leave SH. Read the House Ogre's guide to MTPs for details on that process. It's stickied in this forum for easy access.

Or as was simply stated previously: PoK is your friend.

          Zombie skin

Needs to be a combine in baking for zombie skin, it just fits so well.

I'm working on a necro IKSAR cook.
Talk about being unliked in towns. Even my friends don't trust my cooking.

            Anyway.
            Fish rolls.
Patty Melts (get a friend or alt to buy the cheese)

            and now??
I'm trying to find enough cockroaches for candied cockroaches.

Probably not the most direct/easiest route, but it's so fitting.

"Iksar Necro Cook" Hey...I resemble that!

Yeah I'm an Iksar Necromancer cook (/shrug I like my cooking ) I made lots of fish rolls, and had to make an alt to pick up some hard to get supplies (cheese, namely & jum jum stalks before I found you can buy them in SH) Haven't passed patty melts quite yet in triv. so I'm hoping it won't be too painful to go from 191 to 250

btw a friend doesn't have to buy the cheese for you. You can get it from the gnomes in Jagged Pine. That is where I bought it with my iksar monk, dark elf necro, and dark elf wizard. There is a zone portal in Blackburrow. Once you drop in from there just run down the cave (only way to go), cut in front of the door in the wall and on round it, there will be an entrance go in and there is a banker, and several merchants right there.

Another good option is GoD baking.

I see Cragbeast, etc. meats very often on vendors. The only parts that stymie me are stuff like Garlic & Ground Pepper (for the sauces) since I don't have GoD myself.

And nobody buys them to resell in the Bazaar... seems like an easy resell opportunity to me.

Cheese is also readily available in the Abysmal Sea ... also your friend.

My housemate is a necro and a 250 baker, and she got it before GoD.
