Noodles broken?

This evening I tossed griffon eggs, water flask and a cup of flour into my spit, and got a DNC. Tried again with a snake egg, same result. Moved on to an oven and got two more DNC for my trouble. Is anyone else having this problem or is there a secret ingredient I'm missing?

Suggestion, try going to Shadow Haven or PoK... buy some New Flour... be sure to have no Flour on you when you do it, destroy it or leave it in the bank (don't sell it to the Flour Vendor). There has been issues in the past with the 'cup of flour' that basically is:

There are two identically named types of flour. They are NOT interchangeable in the recipes. There is no way to tell them apart, and the stacking of them gets wierd.

They apparantly have different Item IDs. But if sold to a vendor, it taints their flour, changing the ID. Something like when a vendor recieves it, it compares the name... and not the IDs, and will stack and change the ID. But if you buy the flour, the names are compared, so they stack, but the ID in your inventory is NOT changed.

It has been a bug around a long time.

Personally I've never run into that problem, as I always do my baking (or any trade skill for that matter) in the quieter city zones like Ak'Anon.. not too many people selling back this 'cup of four' that isn't really a cup of flour....

Evil flour

Well I had a closer look at the recalcitrant flour (right before I destroyed it). It seems that there are two 'cup of flour'. One is 0.1 weight (the good flour), and one is 0.2 weight (the bad flour). I have no idea how I ended up with 0.2 weight flour, but it's gone now anyway!

195 skill now, incidentally, and my arm is starting to feel the pressure .

On a day when the pok vendors were bugged, I took some old flour and milk from my baking mule and I hit this problem as well -- trying to make Slarghilug Poppers.

I never narrowed down which ingredient was corrupt but now I know which to purge from the mule.

Quest cup of flour eh? Had a whole stack of it in the bank, got rid of it, I'll worry about what quest it was later.

On another note my hatred for halas pies grows stronger every hour. 205 baking though
