Upgrade to GM Baker's Spoon?

I got my Grandmaster Baker's Spoon last night yay!

Just turned in a Grandmaster's Satchel to get the Grandmaster's Carry-All and noticed that Jolum mentioned that you can upgrade your spoon. He says to combine your old spoon in an oven with a mixing spoon and you should get a new Grandmaster's Baking Spoon in return.

Has anyone tried this yet and if so, what were the results?

When the tradeskill trophies were first introduced they didn't summon no rent bags. (Example: Grandmaster Baker's Spoon, old) Soon after they were changed to summon bags. (Example: Grandmaster Baker's Spoon, new) The new bag-summoning trophies were flagged lore whereas the old ones were not. If the trophies were upgraded with a server patch many people's extra trophies would poof due to the new lore tag (imagine the rant potential) so an upgrade was introduced. Take an origional trophy (non lore, non summoning) and do something with it to upgrade it into a lore, bag-summoning trophy.

These days when a trophy is made the result is always the lore, bag-summoning one. There is no way (I know of) to make the old non lore trophies.

You said you already turned in your no rent bag to get the Grandmaster's Carry-All. You must have the upgraded trophy. There is nothing more you can do to upgrade your trophy at this time.

Oh ok. thank you for the info. I guess they left that part of the quest with Jolum in case people still had the original trophy.
