Personally I like the idea of foraging for the ingredients for our potions. Maybe have one item needed for each of any new lines of potions they come out with. Make the foraged items specific to zones that are compatible to the level needed to make the potions, ie skill of 145 is in the 55 level range, so make the foraged items drop in zones that have compatible mobs. Would be like getting a bonus to forage up ingredients while playing.
I talked on the old boards about the illusion idea and having compatible stats go with the form chosen. This line of potions could become more powerful and have a higher cost to make as the difficulty increased. I like the idea of having items from the mobs that the illusion copies in the combine.
I say the idea of potions to increase tradeskills success rates is also doable, but would have to be a minor increase, say 2% and would have to be expensive or have items needed to make it rare drops.
Summon corpse potion would be great also. I can never find a necro when I need one. Might be intruding on necro skills though but i dont know any that would lose sleep over it.
The haste regen and mana potions we have work but are too expensive for either there duration or the level of the player that would use them.
