Wormwood Price Increase

About last week, I noticed a price increase in wormwood, related to my CHA.

From the release of LoY to about two weeks ago, the price of wormwood for illusion potions was about 78 pp.

However, last week, I went to go get more wormwood, and found:

at 146 CHA -- 96* pp

at 176 CHA (two opal steins) -- 86* pp

at 216 CHA -- 79 pp

*These actual prices might be off, but are in the ball park of what she was charging me. (I have them written down somewhere....)

Prior to this change, she was selling me the wormwood at 146 CHA at 78 pp

Some others on the EQShaman boards have found this as well.

As a side note, one of my other guildmates noticed a price increase in the bazaar for some items, like stackable coffins. Between his opal steins and my casting Unfailing Reverance, he managed to bring down the price to something akin to what he was paying before with just the opal steins.

Did SoE muck around with pricing and CHA again?

I suggest you check now.

After a merchant has seen alot of activity, she will begin to charge more, and pay less.

There was over a month with no patch, so that merchant probably got very greedy.

So, is that how it works? I was wondering also. Last I checked she was back down to below 80pp.

Yeah it was merchant greed. I noticed the same thing on CT. I had to get my cha upto 210+ to get the lowest possible prices right before the lat pair of patches. Just went back this morning to pick up some more and with my normal 120ish buffed cha was getting min prices. At least on ct that merchant had a major case of greed. Almost made me wish I had a second GM trophy would have made getting my cha up that high alot easier.
