  • Confirmation......?

Okay, I'm sure this has probably been asked (and answered) a zillion times somewhere so I hope you forgive me asking again. My brain hurts from some database work I'm doing so I havent much energy to dig for the answer. ops:

    Might someone confirm:
The following "old-world" alchemy potions *can or cannot be player-made* any longer:

    a) YES, they can
    b) NO, they cannot
    -- or --
    c) if some can still be made, which ones?

    • Assailing = Bugbane, Cyclops Eye
    • Calimony = Bugbane, Ice Giant Toe
    • Charming Deceit = Undead Froglok Tongue, Mugwart
    • Copal's Demise = Evil Eye Eyestalk, Horehound
    • Fleeting Languor = Burdock Root, White Wolf Skin
    • Frosty Insurgency = Polar Bear Skin, Bistort
    • Gnomish Boils = Bat Fur, Eyebright
    • Gorging Toxin = Giant Wasp Venom Sac, Boneset
    • Gulon's Impunity = Ground Figwort, Lightstone
    • Shumar's Breath = Vampire Dust, Horehound
    • Skin of Ro = Vox's Dust, Fire Drake Scale
    • Soluan's Vigor = Werewolf Pelt, Vetiver Root
    • Soul of the Incorporeal = Feather, Stinging Nettle
    • Spurn Affliction = Zombie Skin, Reucoat Herb
    • Troll's Essence = Yebamente, Fairie Wing
    • Undead's Recourse = Warbone Chips, Damiana
    • Vampiric Spirit = Griffon Feathers, Feverfew
    • Vox's Vitality = Froglok Leg, Sea Spirit
    • Wolves Blood = High Quality Wolf Skin, Sticklewart
    • Wrackbane = Mammoth Meat, Woundwart

Please, please, please save me the time to log in my shaman to hunt for coin and (L)oot items to attempt these, only to find out they cant be done. She is a retired, couch-potato alchemist (making stuff only as needed by friends or "itties" used in other tradeskills for fun) so I loathe the thought of loggin' in to confirm these myself. I thank YOU in advance for sparing me.

    Thanks!!

See the Old Alchemy Recipes list. If it's on there, it has been confirmed as working. In glancing over your list, it looks like it's all the same recipes. There was one old alchemy recipe using a rat ear that has been removed since it never worked and could not be made to work. But I don't see that on your list.

Thanks a ton! I was doing a cross-reference check on all potions at eqmaps.com and some of the old-world potions I looked up there were *not* listed as alchemist-made potions; ie: one (dont recall name) was listed as a GM-event prize, etc. So then I wasnt sure if maybe they were sub-categorized here because they -might- be out of game items.

My poor shaman is so out of the loop, and all she ever makes anymore is a hoard of sow potions and the occassional high-end resist-potions. Some requests are tricklin' in for the new recipes (illusions) but I've not logged her in to attempt any of those (she's only L61 so alchemy-capped at 185, bleh).

alchemy is lvl capped and goes up by 5 a level. At 159 I beleive that your actually capped at 175. I personally never tested it but I assumed that past 60 it goes up 5 per lvl till 64 when it hits what seems to be a cap at 200.
