I am not sure why this happened or is it supposed to happen that way. It happened last week, Wednesday night after the short patch.
At the time I was level 48 and made one of each Awareness II potions 10 stacks, and went hunting with the pet. I drank the Beneficial, the Magic, the Poison and the Disease ones in a row. I buffed my pet with no problem, but I could not cast Chloroplast onto myself :shock: . Anytime I tried would tell me that the spell did not take hold. I clicked-off the beneficial II effect and Chloro took hold.
Then I casted Alacrity on pet just fine, but it didn’t take hold on me (puzzled). I removed Magic II and it stuck fine.
I just decided to continue only with Disease and Poison and everything was fine, spells stuck and buffs held. After some time, Disease II ran out, so I re-applied. To my surprise, again Chloro didn’t stick on me (now completely puzzled). Removed Disease II, and Chloro stuck :? . I got mad, clicked off Poison and threw my Aware II potions back in the bank. I also gave some Ice II and Fire II to my 35 level mage friend, and they worked just great for him.
My apologies that I didn’t experimented more to be able to give more detail here. I am just interested if this happened to anyone else?
