I recall seeing a guide that listed the most economical path to advancing alchemy that included a guide for 200-300 as well. Can't seem to find it anymore. Any help?

Did you see at the bottom of Forums page the
Tradeskill Guides and UI Mods thread, I not sure how to link to it.
But it will have the terrific 6.1 tradeskill guide in there for all the trades, Excellent info, including the Alchemy section -
Follow the guide to 233 then farm inks and NBLs there are several places for inks, kedge (and PoWater was often camped) was/were my farm spots and at 70ish there was some aaxp but not a lot. I went thru probably 1200 inks and maybe 1500 NBLs, even did some bazaar farming while selling most to a vendor to keep going on
