    WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaa

How the hell are you guys whining so much over money spent on the tradeskill...lets examine for a sec some other trade skills....tailoring around lvl 37 trivial what can we make....swatches....which we must hunt for and farm the silks oh yeah big profit there.....brewing lvl 37...what water from 4 pods and a bottle...yeah huge profit huh....or pottery....have you yet bought anything potteried?...opal encrusted steins right?....check the trivial then the cost to make and balance that with them selling for 22 pp....lets see that comes to about 1 pp profit?....smithing....need to get smithing to at least 87 before you can make banded then it only sells for 1pp per ac....figure out the profit there....so whty not get off your **** high horses take your ****ed 30 pp profit guaranteed to have a buyer and move on with life. At least you can make a profit. Consider all the other tradeskills how long you have to do them before you can even begin to turn a profit.

        exactly

and what lvl do you have to be to cast kei?
and how much does the spell cost?
and where the hell is it costing you 100p?
and are you saying people don't donate for focus....heck people donate for hos let alone focus....15-30 pp for hos easy and up...

so stop your crying and make your **** 30 pp at lvl 30 that anyone else at lvl 30 would be more than happy to make with their trade skills but how many lvl 30's are masters in any tradeskill especially tailoring about the only tradeskill that has a chance in hell in making a profit.

I think it's all about people wanting more money for their potions and other people wanting to pay less for potions. I also think that a 30pp profit is better than nothing, yes it takes time to make the potions but it's also your decision to make them. I understand that shamans want to make money but, alchemy isn't a very good way to do it. Try farming Sebilis or attend raids and try to get in on rolls. 85pp for a potion isn't that bad because there is still a decent profit. 5pp for a profit is cutting it close, but 20 - 50 pp is a good profit.

Once shamans get their pet it is quite easy to farm things like pelts or silks and the tailoring supplies sell pretty nice in bazaar. Even brewing supplies like tea leaves or yew leaves that can be foraged sell nicely.

What you do is all up to you.

um, you don't get it do you.

If what your saying is true. Then I as am old school jeweler should call for all my buddy jewelers to refuse to sell anything for less than 3 times thier cost in components right?
Same with every trade skill right?

You are aware that with the exception of a hand full of planar trade skill items there are better items in common circulation than most trade skill produce and they are for sale for less than a trade skill can make them for?

All your really saying is you want an easy way to create a cash cow that other classes don't have access to. Facts are that SoE has made the game such that ALL trade skills amount to an interesting side venture, but not something anyone is ever better off doing instead of grouping and getting exp.

You want to be defined as a trade skiller, wait till EQ2 comes out. From all the press out there, sounds like you'll love it.

            Nuff said.

you feel much better with that whole free will
            thing removed.

SOW potions go for between 70 and 80pp on Xev all the time. That doesn't deter me from selling for 100pp or not at all. If I don't get my price, fine. If I do, fine.
I do the same thing. I sold one yesterday for 100pp. The only problem is they don't stack so its not worth it to me to fill up all those slots just to wait until all the undercutters are out of the market. I make them every once in a while when I'm low on items for my traders satchels. I can sometimes sell 10 Dose Ant Potions for 250pp too. Hehe
