  • 350 Grandmaster???

    My skill is 300
My skill is 345 with Trophy equipped
My Trophy is 7/7 but 0%

    How do I become a 350 Grandmaster??

Will the percentage on my 7/7 trophy go up if I continue doing non trivial combines?

If so will it take me another 700+ combines to go those last 5 points?

    Thank You in advance

The grandmaster title was one that the tradeskill community conferred upon itself when 250 was the cap. It had nothing to do with SOE's side of the game, it was just what we called ourselves to say "I freakin did it!" As Rawckett said, the current highest title you can achieve is "Master XXXX." It is possible that at some point tradeskill caps may be raised again, and another title conferred upon those who reach it, but for now Master is it. (Possibilites don't mean certanties, there is a probability that tradeskill caps will be raised, but for now you'd better be flying on the Heart of Gold if you expect that probability to occurr).

Uh... NO.. Don't forget that Sony implemented the Grandmaster Trophies (OLD Ones) http://www.eqtraders.com/items/show_...r=035000000000 when the trivial cap was 250. So, they were the ones to introduce the grandmaster wording.

Nope, we (the community) used "Grandmaster" to denote a 250 tradeskill loooooooooong before trophies were created.

Actually, the title "Grandmaster" was used by the community to denote two different things, hehe.

Before PoP, you could only get one of the seven basic tradeskills over 200 (there were no AA's to let you bring more over that mark prior to PoP). So people at first referred to those who went over 200 as Grandmaster. That stopped when people hitting 250 was not quite so rare, and then the title Grandmaster was reserved for those who had 250 in the skill.
