Drops a bit too Uncommon?

I went to CT today to farm for Robust Lizard Man Blood for the Regeneration VIII potion. I spent two hours there, killed at least 100 mobs and got 8 bloods. Am I just that unlucky or is this what you guys normally get?

While I am here I will talk about Powder of Ro and such for the various potions of various levels. With that many potions at different levels one would presume it would drop much more frequently than it does. Any ideas or comments?

Maybe I am just looking in all the wrong places for these items.

I think they are a somewhat rare drop. Or we just both have bad luck, lol

The drop rate for the powder was supposedly increased after the 3/15 patch; however, I still think it drops too infrenquent to be of use in so many different alchemy potions. I have yet to make many of the X potions simply because I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for something that is going to be used up that quickly.

As far as the blood goes, that sounds about right for the actual drop rate. Looks like you had better look that I did when farming exceptional shade essences... took out most of the zone and got none That was before the patch that increased the drop rate; however, I'm still bummed about wasting so much time in GE that I haven't gone back to try again.

Hey, at least the drops seem to be more frequent than Slugworms, lol
