Help me pass 300 please!!

Well finally I'm at Alchemy 300 and with the master trophy at 336. I reached 300 by doing the potions using deepwater inks. I switched to nodding blue lilies now and I have done 340 combines with very,very minimal failures but I have not moved up not even 1 point, however, my trophy has gone up to 40% already.
Is there a cap based on toon lvl? I am lvl 53 atm. My wis and cha are capped at 255. I figure at the rate I was skilling up before at should have moved up at least 1 or 2 points if not more.
Any input as to how hard is it to skill up passed 300?

No ebay here dude, i probably have been playing for at least the same time as you if not longer. Just ignorant to tradeskills since in all this time this is my first toon I have tradeskilled with. Call me a tradeskill noob but dont insinuate I bought my way. I worked hard for it.

Is there no longer a cap based on lvl of the shaman?

That sucks if so... You claim to have done this the hard way, well try getting to 200 alchemy before they dicked with it...

I quit the game right as OOW came out and just came back a month ago only to learn that all that work I did in alchemy was in vain. 200 Alchemy is a joke now and my old GM trophy? I have to start over!

No level cap for alchemy anymore. Not sure when it happened, but I've seen level 26 shammys walking around with Expert titles. I think it's good, none of the other tradeskills have level caps, unless I am mistaken.

I do belive the level requirements were lifted along with poisonmaking and Tinkering(?) At the release of DoN, along with the raise to 300 cap on tradeskills

Not tinkering, it never was level capped, apart from needing level 16 to start it.

My shaman is 45 and at 231. I did 210 with the "Old" versions and 211-231 with the newest (susp. of Slime) Still took me well over 500 combines to get the last 20 skill ups. I was hunting Hearty Shissar blood to try and hit 220 when I discovered the Susp. of Smile and saved myself a lot of plat and farming.

Intend to get her to 300 even if I don't really play her must atm.

Only level restriction with alchemy is to be 25 to start using alchemy. Same with poison and I think spell research, not sure what level though.
Tinker starts at 50 but capped till level 16 I think.

All other tradeskill not capped from level 1 but only 1 can go over 200 until you can buy AA's and that is not till you're able to start getting aa xp.

I thought poison and research were at 16?
