Ngreth, outstanding job on the Alchemy Revamp Now that the majority of the kinks have been worked out I have a request. Back in my early alchemy days I remember hearing of a potion called Somber Origins. The idea was it would remove drunkenness instantly. I would love to see if this potion could be made into an alchemy quest. Any chance this effect and subsequent implementation could be reworked somehow? If not, I had to try

There was a drink called Brodder's Revenge that was supposed to cure drunkenness. The quest for it was bugged for a while, but now that it is in game, it doesn't seem to have any effect.

I suspect they might have to re-work drunkenness and make it use a detrimental buff slot, much like disease, poison or curse effects, with x number of counters depending on your state of drunkenness (tipsy all the way to falling down/blind drunk) and then they could give Brodder's Revenge (and any new potion) an effect that would remove a certain # of counters.

Unfortunately... it si a code change to remove drunkeness... so for now... it is jsut flavor.
