No Exp gained by Master Trophy

I'm not getting any xp on my master trophy. I put it in offhand and I am doing Distillate of Divine Healing IX (302 trivial). My skill is 300. I've done several stacks and seen no increases. Is alchemy trophy broken at the moment? What am I screwing up?
UPDATE #1:
After looking at a couple of posts, I made some changes. My exp on the item is activated and I have the trophy equipped in offhand. Did 120 combines, almost all successful and my trophy didn't budge. I'm gonna move on to the more expensive stuff in hopes that it might actually move. Anyone else having troubles with this?
UPDATE #2:
Tried again with 56 combines (all successes) of Distillate of Divine Healing X (trivial 348) and my trophy didn't budge. Any ideas?

It's almost been confirmed that the higher the trivial on the item you're making, the more progress your trophy will make.

If, for example, you were making potions that trivialed at 335, you should see about 1% increase for every ~20 combines.

It's a bit more than "almost confirmed", Ngreth told us when the NDA was dropped that tropies get experience equal to the trivial of the combine.
But several stacks of 302 trivial should be plenty to see gain. On the evolving item tab of your inventory screen do you have item experience activated?

perhaps the skill mod is making the trophy think the potion is trivial? /shrug
just a thought, as i havent finished the quest for it yet myself.

Expert Trophy same problem

ok i have the expert version of this trophy and am haveing the same problem...my skill is at 260 and the trophy has no exp....i have gotten 2 skill ups since i got this trophy and evolving items exp is turned on....did 28 combines of the clarity IX potion (trivial 302) and no exp for the trophy....any ideas?

Currently only the NEW potion recipes are working for evolving trophies. Wait till the next patch before you burn your Nodding Blue Lillies and Ocean Ink.

anyone know if this has been fixed yet? just curious as i just hit 300 with my shammy and got master trophy and wanted to know if i could start burning my lily's or if i should wait

Unfortunately, It needs a full patch to fix.

The next full patch is scheduled 3/14 I have no control over this timing.

That's ok ngreth. I for one can't wait to get my alchemy trophy maxed. Definately appriciate the update and all the work you have been putting into this. and even though we can't gain exp on our alchemy trophy's currently 8% to our alchemy skill is still better than the old 5% trophy.
