big question is what do we do if we have the old GM medicine bag? its not in the upgrade list, i tryed putting in a medicine bag and hit combine like the rest of the upgrades but dnc ..... what now ... its lore so if i try to make the new bag (which is the only thing i havent finished and because i cant find the shade essense) i should get you already have this item and it will be destroyed thus failing the combine... any quidance would be helpful please. thank you.

Show your GM medicine bag to the event coordinator to get credit for making it. She will give it back. Then when you are ready you can had it in for the new Trophy.

Sorry... I am still a bit confused.

What, if any, advantage do we have if we have already made the GM Medicine Bag? Should I just do the task that I am assigned when we hail the Event Coordinator? Or does our previous bag figure into the equation at all?

I tried handing my GM bag to the Event Coordinator and Judge Marion to no apparent effect.

You have to get the task for the new trophy first (eg Master Alchemist Test). The old Grandmaster's trophy is one of the steps in Expert and Master level tests. Instructions are spelled out when you get the task.

My Shaman actually got her GM medicine bag at skill 200 -- now into the low 200s so got the level 4 quest, which didn't require this to be shown, so I guess it's now just going to sit in the bank.

I wouldnt put the old one in the bank just yet. Your old Medicine bag still simmons 100% wr bags, the new trophies do not until lvl 7, so unless you are at the 300 skill, get the new trophy at 6/7 and have enough stuff to lvl it up all the way the other trophy is still my go to clicky when i need another iventory bag. just my 2 cents sincei only carry 2 permanent bags and clicky the rest as i need em when farming.

same here my shaman made his at 201 skill, my tinker made his spanner at 203

Trophy levels 6 and 7 summon the same bag.
