Old Trophy? plz help

What about the recipe to make our old Trophy plz?
It is required to complete Master's alchemist Test but Potion of Mystical Aptitude is now unavailable, i tried yesterday

The new trophies replace the old GM combinations nearest I can figure. I know the Potion of Mystical Aptitude was removed, and Ngeth and Maddoc are aware it was needed for our GM trophy combine. They stated over at the shaman boards that it was accounted for. So very likely, if the combine still exists, then the recipie has been changed to use a different potion.

I'm trying to remember where we got those recipes from. I think there were NPCs that told us what to combine to make the trophies. If we can figure out which one had the alchemy recipe, they might be able to tell us if it changed.

Julom in the Bazaar tels you what you need to do (he was the original one to give the recipe)

Per Jolum, the new potion for the GM Medicine Bag combine is Tonic of Benefit Affinity III.

Jolum doesn't give the recipe for Benefit Affinity III, he just tells us that's what is needed to make the GM Med Bag.

What I am trying to find out now, is where does Exceptional shade essence drop? It's possibly the last item needed in the Tonic of BAIII combine.

Please please please, I hope this is not some rare drop from a rare named, or worse yet, not even in the game ... I stopped going after the original after failing 8 GM bags over the last 6 months, which is bad enough (the last 2 failures with 300 alchemy!). Go go random number generator, sigh. Succeeded on Tailoring GM trophy on first combine, with 250 tailoring, go figure.

Ngreth, can you shed some light on the above?

Last I heard, it was a beta item that accidentally showed up on live vendors last month, which resulted in a patch rolling back players who might have bought from those vendors. Is this item even in game? The combine w/o the "powerful essence" does not combine right now.
