Alchemists no longer automatically throw a tantrum and destroy the small vials used to make some potions if they fail to make the potion
    What does this mean, anyone?

I believe that small vials were consumed on a combine fail previously; now they are returned on a fail. Just a funny way of saying it

That's my take on it, at least.

Aye, I believe this applies to the PoK potions (elixirs I-X) but haven't yet got confirmation of that.

I was making some elixirs tonite, and the stack of 5 empty vials were indeed returned on a failure.

I hate to complain about something getting fixed but I really don't see why developer time was spent on this when there are so many more important things broken.

If you can't afford to lose 5 sp per combine you really should re-think your commitment to alchemy.

I'm going to guess that this was probably a very quick and easy fix. It may have taken someone all of five minutes, if that.

              What verdandi said.

I had 30 minutes to spare in a day where I did not have time to start another involved process (like revamping all the alchemy prices... which will take DAYS to fix, if not a full week)

so... I checked /bug for fast things to fix, it was there... so I fixed it... took me 10 minutes, most of the time finding the recipies to fix.

Actually, it would be "a freely presented equine".
