A stack of ingredients for Greater Mystical Infusion costs roughly 1,360pp and if 100% successful gets me two 10 dose potions that sell to the vendor for 18pp or so and I'm lucky if I get one skill-up. Ok, there's only two ingredients and they're storebought, but still...

I've been slowly buying up Red Cups and Ocean Ink, both of which produce actually usefull items with a reasonable cost but I hate the idea of using any of them to bridge this gap. I guess I'll just have to keep pimping my chanter to raise the money.

Red cups are a loser, Ocean Ink is pretty common in Kedge Keep, which should be all green to you by now. If you can get the group to go there, Sirens Grotto is another source of Ocean Ink and some pretty decent plat.

Kedge sucks. Too many mazes to get lost in.

SG or PoW are much better.

SG - almost everything there can drop it. I solo the water area and if it gets cleaned I do the bulthors - still no crushed diamond dust in all the time spent there - 700 inks tho.

PoW - need to duo there or full group for faster kills. better exp but slower drop rate.

Was AEing Sebilis with a shaman for nodding blue lillys, went pretty easy withh lots of drops (level 70 shaman and 70 magician).
