10 and 5 dose cloudy potions?

In /buyer search, I saw a 10 dose cloudy potion and a 5 dose cloudy potion. Are these made? I can't seem to find them on a vendor and when I tried to combine 10 cloudy potions in the bear skin bag, they DNC.

It is my understanding that the 5 and 10 dose cloudy potions were from a GM event and aren't shammy made.

Sorry to revive a dead thread, but i didnt feel that my stupid question deserved its own thread...

I'm super new to alchemy despite the fact that my shaman is lvl 67. My question is how do i make 5 and 10 dose potions. They arent on the trivial lists, and I'm sure its something pretty simple, just cant figure it out.

Dance, they are on the Multiple Dose Potions recipe list. Or, if you look at the EQTC item detail for the potion you want to make into 5 or 10 doses and then click the link "Find recipes that use this item", you'll see the recipes to make it into dosed versions.

Note that it's becoming more common for newer potions to be made stackable, so that there is no need for (or ability to) make them multiple doses. If you still don't see dosed versions of a potion, that's probably why.

Since you went to the site I am sure you saw that you simply take either 5 or 10 of any single dose potion and combine in a bearskin potion bag, regular or collapsable.

Another good to know fact is that this is not a shaman only combine. Anyone can do it, regardless of class. At least that's what I recall from when they began allowing us to combine for 5 or 10 shot potions. You can test it by simply handing the bearskin bag with the singles in it to a friend, non shaman of course, and asking them to hit combine. If it works, I remember correctly. If not, then blame it on old EQ age... Remember you cannot combine 5 singles and 1 5 dose. Once it's a multiple dose that's what you get and have to live with.

If doing this as part of skill ups you may want to check vendor prices on sell back. It used to be and I don't know if it's changed any that you got royally ripped off selling multiple dose potions to vendors.
