  • Full list of all self-DoT potions?

I can't figure out a way through here, or through Allakhazam to get a full list of all potions that have a DoT effect built in. The only one for sure that I know of is "Potion of Stinging Wort". Can anyone more familiar with Alchemy please post known DoT potions please?

P.S. The reason is that we're planning a PoFear raid to get the Ireblind Imp, and one strategy that we may try is to have a DoT on every character, without REGEN to counter that DoT, so that every tick the Ireblind Imp's mezz will immediately wear off (DoT breaks Mez). So in theory, if we rely in pure healing (not regen type healing), even a mini-DoT like Stinging Wort (-2 hp every 6 sec) should be enough to keep mez broken every tick.

Potion of Stinging Wort is a heal potion, instant cast, zero recast time for about 300 HP. Sorry. But it might work for what you want with the -2.

not sure if self regen counters the spell effects.
might want test n a safe environment first.

Not sure why you said "sorry". It's +17 STR and whether or not the +300 hp is heal or "increased hp pool" doesn't matter. I just want a potion with a built in DoT to cancel mezz.

Right, this is easy enough...put a mini-DoT (like -2 / tick Stinging Wort) on a character with some (+2 or more) AA-based regen and try to mezz them.

Another solution if you want long term DoT is Bristlebane's Bread. The veteran AA bristlebane randomly summons them for you. There are two varieties. One does a regen, the other (w/link above) is a poison.

It's not easy to distinguish which of the two breads you have since they both identify the same. Easiest way is to try to eat it while in a non combat zone (e.g. PoK). If it lets you eat it, then it's the regen type (wrong one for your purposes). If it doesn't let you eat it, then it's the poisoned bread and will work for you. He summons them in stacks of 10, so if you try one, you'll still have nine left.

I think the Ireblinds proc does more than just mez as it seems to remain until you stand up. I recall when I was in PoFear this guy spawned and just about wiped my group. But, the cleric got hit by the mez and was as if he'd been FD (i.e. no aggro). So, the cleric slowly regened health, summoned corpses, stood up, ran away, got hit by mez/fd, ireblind returned to spawn point, repeated until cleric was out of aggro range. Fortunately, we had cleared enough of the area that other stuff didn't start to aggro.

You want a Crimson Potion because they are vendor sold, in PoK, by the guy that also sells Cloudy (invis) potions, cheap, and work with the potion belt.
In My (Not Always) Humble Opinion, except where I quote someone. If I don't know I say so.
I suck at this game, your mileage WILL vary. My path is probably NON-optimal.

When they changed it so pets don't break mez, they also changed all npcs to not break mez. This makes it seem as if the npc's are being smart by ignoring mezzed chars, but really they are just memblur toward you.
On a different note, its easy to ID jester bread/wine:
;tell "link" will spit back an error with the link number. You see a series of numbers groups separated by dashes. If the first number group is even, its the good bread/wine, if its odd, its the bad bread/wine.
