How to go to 300?

I've maxed Magic awareness potions (dear god, it was expensive) Now how do we get to 300? can anyone point me to a book, recipies, anything? Been hunting around in Lavaspinners, and can't find much to go on.

what i have done so far..

Elixir of divine endurance Trivial at 223
Greater mystical infusion trivial at 234
Elixir of Greater concentration trival at 244
Potion of mystical apptitude trivial at 255..

took 80k roughly to get it from 200 to 252.

there are new books in the PoK Alchemy dude on the right as you go in.. in the two books i can get some combines to work in book one.. but trivials are lower end < 150... cant get any of the ones in book two to work.. have several of the ingrediants just wont combine. hope this helps.

my alt has been foraging in DoN zones and i just looked up the drops here and the new potions range upto 311 skill

I've been making Regeneration Awareness V, Distance Awareness V and Efficiency Awareness V potions to get to 275 from 254. Only at 261 so far and out of Draconic Essence. At 275, I'll switch to Ensnaring VI to get to 300. I've already got about 200 Mature silkworms saved.

This is the cheapest way to go if you have a forage bot and all these foraged components can be obtained in Broodlands. I think I spent about 250PP on the first 160 combines. Much cheaper than the other ways if you can set it up. I knew having a druid alt would be worthwile someday Looking at about 7PP per combine from 275-300 if you forage the mature silkworms, so shouldn't be too expensive.

How'n the heck did you get 200 Mature silkworms so fast? I started foraging on my druid alt, and found it seems to be a forage table of 37 items (30 DoN items + the 7 'common' forages (roots, fruit, pod of water, etc). Foraging refresh is 3 minutes I believe? So then on average it would take 111 minutes to get one of each item ... and on average, 2220 minutes to get a stack of each. That's 37 hours foraging for just 20 of a specific item! (And yes 20 of everything else, but if you only need one of the items...)

Nature's bounty one helps a little, I believe foraging refreshes every 102 seconds (I could be wrong, it's something close to that though.) Beyond that, I've got a friend with a ranger alt foraging for me as well. She was using the scale ore anyway for JC. Lately the Draconic Essence is coming up less than the silkworms, probably just RNG but it was pretty even until the last few days.

Magic (or any other LoY) Awareness IV till 228. Not including foraging, this is the cheapest route from what I can tell, since vendors buy the potions for over 100pp. Got the tip from the Crucible, btw.

I have raised my alchemy to 255 with the potions of mystical aptitude. Thanks Stark But having a really difficult time of getting the foraged components for any higher trivials. On my server, I'm seeing mature silkworms up in bazaar at 500pp a pop, have yet to see more than one, and the draconic essence up for 400pp each, but have yet to see more than one in an evening. Is there any alternative method that does not require foraging or farming? PP is not a problem, I would rather not spend the next 6 months trying to find the components. Just would like to say thanks to the devs that kept the alchemy cap at 200 for so long, and then decided to raise it to 300. It's been really expensive raising the skill to 250. It's too bad other tradeskills had the jump on the shaman only tradeskill for so long. Any help with skill ups past 255 would be greatly appreciated. -Disgruntled shammy from Dro.

Hate to give bad news to a fellow Druzzilite, but ... in a word, no. There is no alternate skill path.

Also, all the alchemy material on Druzzil belongs to me. *grin* ... j/k, but I do admit to having bought out everything reasonably priced.

Much cheaper to go form silkworm larvae > silkworms > draconic essence+storm cloud+marsh algae > mature silkworm and/or quicklime and/or mature drake saliva and/or mature basalisk saliva, then it is to use the vendor crap, but it also takes much longer.

Th foraged concoction recipies are extreemly cheap to make if you can get the foraged/droped items for free, even if you spend oh say 20p each on them, you still get out cheaper then vendor stuff.

Best advice you can get is to start saving those 275+ skill up items as soon and as much as you can. I did 187 combines it took me since DON came out to save that much and got all of 7 skill ups.
