ok some new things in PoK and AS are available and in reading the books it talks of bases and activators.. trouble i am having is do you combine all the bases and all the activator items? and if so.. get me a bigger med. bag please..
trying to do one.. with the briar thistle, and pickleberry and storm cloud...and use an activator cyrtanthose and even that modifer of nettles.. but it keeps giving me the same.. cant combine in this container type.. have gotten a few out of this book to combine but trivials have been all below 150 =( had hoped this would be a source for Alchemy potions beyond 255.. so far.. its not..
anyone else have suggestions on how they read these throwing the bottle books as to whats supposed to be combined?

Have you tried combining first the base, then doing the combine for the activator, finally combining the 2 together?

very good question but yes i tried .. and not working
just doing the base doesnt combine.. get the cant combine message.. one i am currently trying to do is the briar thistle, pickleberry extract, storm cloud, with activator of cyptanthous, and the extra item of nettle creeper in no way or combination of these items can i get a combine to activate only the cant combine in this container have used both folded and reg. med. bags.

the base is cork, empty vial, briar thistle, pickleberry, storm cloud,
activator is the crytanthos, and the extra thing that can be added is the nettle creeper...

maybe but in book one of the two books says to use normal bottle (empty vial) and then have to pour the concoction into the newer more brittle bottle. but cant get the concoctions to combine yet.. that is where i am stuck. not sure if combine is bugged or not.

I tried in beta and never did get a combine successfully but just figured I wasn't doing it right. I spent my time in smithing, so I didn't figure it was a bug (which it may not be).

Yes, you don't need the pottered "bottles" until after you mix the concoction in the regular vial. There are 3 levels of bottles, can't remember what it is that makes each one different.
