Maddoc posted in the general forum, that ALL .... oh hell, i will go cut and paste it in here for ya....

Alchemy, Poison Making, Research, and Tinkering are no longer level capped (if the ever were), though you will still need to be the appropriate level to "learn" the skill.

General - All tradeskills are now able to progress to 300.
General - You are no longer able to train any tradeskill beyond the basic steps at any guildmaster. Ok, so this isn't so much a goody, but... It lets me treat these skills as actual skills from here on out, even letting you guys make some decent stat items.

The information above may not be 100% accurate, so be nice to me The expansion launch has exhausted me and it's late at night... I do know, however, that I made lots of changes to skills and skill caps for the tradeskills.

Good news on the level capping.... but my rog really missed out on the trainer skillup that most rogs used from 200 to 250.....

Ohhh, I'm going to be blowing some serious plat on my shaman this weekend. She's just 47, so she's got a *long* way to go to 300.

*giggles* My warrior is going to be dancing with happiness that she can get gate potions now!!

Aug trivs have also increased to be the same as poison making so we are going to have to skill up again to catch up as rogue aug makers would already be at 250.
Highest potion triv is 255, unless some more are found in DoN, so to get to 300 we can use the common drops of augs and slugworms to skill up.

Yes, there are new recipes with DoN. Check your alchemy vendors in PoK or AS. From what I've heard, they may have given you a break with some items that are a bit less costly to make, to compensate for the change. Many foraged items (which can also be looted on occasion) from the Broodlands appear to be useful to shamans.

I don't know about you but slugworms on my server are going for 70k a piece, that's not really a viable skillup route =\
