  • When do SoW potions become reliable?

At what skill level does making a SoW potion become 99% sucessful?

I want to level up a shaman alt for the express purpose of making these things.

trivial like 41 so at least the 60s but maybe 70s.

    Maker of Picnics.
Cooker of things best left unidentified.
"Grimrose points to the sky. Look! Up in the sky, it's a bird, no, a plane, no it's Picnic-Man. It's Emiamn, a mild mannered tradeskiller by day but daring handsome crime fighter at night. Spreading peace and joy to norrath with his mighty Picnics!"

So I should be aiming for about a 38 level shaman?

Well, I was hoping for less, but 38 seems doable in the near-term.

I don't recall what the amount an item has to be trivial by in order to qualify for the massively trivial low failure rate. Other than that, your best success rate, without any Alchemy mastery AAs will be 95%. You should hit the 95% success rate at around 70, assuming the trivial is indeed 41.

          95 % finally...

When I hit the 170-180 mark, I was consistently getting a 95% + success rate.

Even with a GM bag and 200 skill, I lose about 2 single-shot doses) out of 10 10-dosers.

I don't I've ever had a 100% run in one sitting....unless I was making under 2 10-dosers. The failures tend to happen early on, then no failures throughout the sitting.
