    Patch? What patch?

    Did I miss something?

    There was a patch scheduled for this morning/last night...

    Yet I woke up to see that my trader-wench was still logged in.

    Then the server bounced everyone... right about 6:15 or so. The time that the servers would have come back up after the patch, assuming the scheduled down-time was correct.

    No new files when I logged in again... no patch message...

    Uh, did someone just forget to put the patch in? :shock:

          The removed the negative effects of Shaman Potions, and they halved the cost of Mana vials.


          This was not an inconsequential patch.


          And yes, I have confirmed that the vial thing went live.

            The mana vial thing, if true, is nice, yes. But it was not announced in the patch message to which we were referring to.

            The same patch message that said it enhanced freakin' fireworks. HI - how about you fix some bugs?! Druid foliage shield.../camp desktop...parchment drops...PoP quest flag drops...healer aggro in PoP...etc, etc, etc...

            Oh and let's add 6 pointless hours to that Aten raid.

            And sorry, removing negative crap from shaman potions does nothing for me.

              While I agree that the fireworks were a bit un-neccessary, I am thrilled about the alchemy thing. Even as a druid. Potions that enchance my stats, and give cool abilities? Whenever I want? Sign me up.

              And yes, I would love to see /camp desktop work again.

                  And Lilosh - do you actually use any shaman potions that have negative effects? Do you use any shaman potions regularly?

                    Shrug, and here I thought it was a feature to prevent CH chains and make druids more wanted.

                    Druid CH is next to no aggro, the druid not-a-CH is very high aggro - verified by a druid friend up to Rallos so far...

                      How many times do we have to say... We DO NOT want artists fixing coding bugs... we do NOT want artists fixing coding bugs...

                      Let the artists keep busy making things look nice, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not asign them to fixing coding bugs. At least that is what you seem to be asking for Chenier....

                      For some reason they decided this is waht you pay for some of the top items in the game. This is not likely to change at all.

                      Shaman loved it. They might actually be able to sell some stat postions now.

                          And you believe these are mutually exclusive because...?

                          I'd be content if they let artist fix the fireworks ( Screen shots are VERY cool, not unlike the plague event in WK though hmmmm, gnomes == plague?) then have them verify the content that is 'working as intended.' Surely an artist can take his little artist friends, buff themselves out the wazoo and go on a {insert planar mob here} killing rampage and say, WOAH I got one parchment in four hours of my uberness sexy killing spree. Maybe that'll piss people off?
