Are you really sure you meant to put rogues in there? I mean, from RoK/Epics to high end ssra+ is a very long time to go without any significant upgrades, especially tradable ones... But if you're really adament about it, I'm sure SOE would be happy to remove most of the warrior weapons in the game to balance the situation
It's up to you, what you do will decide your own fate.

zzzzzzzz...chanter rant inc!

Just so everyone knows, I just leveled up a druid to 29 so I could imbue emeralds, and I'll be estatic if this goes live. Imbueing/enchanting is a big time sink pain in the butt. If you'd like giving up your time on your level 60+ character to enchant things for everyone, then more power to you. I couldn't even find a druid to imbue emeralds for me. I have a close friend in game that said she would, but I couldn't put her through that. 3 per combine * 50 skillups * 25 attempts per skillup (very very generous) = alot. Enchanters dont like spending all that downtime doing it.

Descent was a nice game, for it's time.

But why would Descent weapons be in Everquest? Machine guns? Missles? No way...

This is not a power upgrade for enchanters ... this is a break for non-enchanters.
EXACTLY!

I'm not an enchanter, cleric, druid, or wizard (they get Sol Ro imbue :P) ... I'm a dwarf paladin smith. This is a HUGE improvement - getting Brellium enchanted has been a pita - its hard to find an enchanter willing to do the enchanting, and when I do they rarely actually understand just how much mana&time they're gonna be eating up, no matter how much I try to explain it ahead of time. When instead of chanter-hunting I ask a friend, it really feels like I'm cheating them out of something and placing an inordinate burden, as it just takes so much time to get even a small load done. If this goes live, with the costs even mildly reduced from the singles (I'm amazed at how far they have been reduced ... I'd settle for less, but ... :P ), the effect would be quite appreciated.

And as for the imbues ... it might get me to start on sickles, since I could get emeralds from tunare people without nearly as much trouble for them.

And I still say quad lvl 4 lasers is the best weapon, second only to a highly skilled wielding of the fusion cannon :P

Nah, I doubt many more 'chanters will start making mana vials. For one thing, it's seen as something *poor* enchanters do, so some of them won't just for the perception.

(/shrug I have no idea why, just passing on the info)

For another it doesn't mean I'll do more than my normal 200. It just means I'll get through the 200 vials of viscous, 100 vials of clear, 100 vials of distilled, and 200 blocks of clay faster.

Maybe I'll even have time to go level...

But I don't think it will convince those who don't already imbue/enchant to suddenly go on a spree. What it will do is help those like Dunthor, who can't do it themselves, and hate bogging someone else down for hours to do it for them.

They're fixing the Greenmist and Innoruuk's Curse Procs too! (They would HURT YOU TOO--they are SUPPOSED to be lifetaps)

As for the mass imbues, it's about time...
