Have you ever worked in a store that got the same customers every week? The ones who annoy you the most are the worst right? The ones who think their little joke of saying "I am not!" when you say nothing but "Hi" think they they are so smart.
Well, today I got the better of one of these guys.
To give a little backround, I work in computer retail. We sell parts and systems to the public or to resellers.
Since Day 1 of me working here (16 months now) I personally have had to deal with these guys. I am the front (wo)man. I am the first line of assault. One of these guys "Ken" is a real work of art. This guy is a habitual liar and a cheat. He has some kind of incestual relationship going on in his family that I do not know the details of. He always hits on me when I wear nice clothes (esp. the fuzzy stuff), by saying that I am "pettable."
Well, last week he came up to the store at 9:30am (we do not open until 10am now b/c we changed our hours) and he was miffed. Well we had a sign up for a month, if he didn't read the dern thing then it's not our fault. He had 3 friends with him. One of the first things was that they walked in at 9:55, when the lights were off, the sign still says CLOSED and I was still setting up. Ok whatever.... Then his 3 friends walk in. One asks me if he can use our restroom. I told him the usual "I'm sorry it's in the warehouse and I can't let you back there." (if we do let someone go use it they are a SUPERB customer with us for years on end, obviously not a category that "Ken" or his new friends fall into)
This guy idiot_01 proceeds to say "Thats ok I'll just use the sidewalk" and walks outside. Now occasionally I have a hard time hearing customers from them either mumbling or just not speaking clearly so I didn't understand him the first time, then he told his buddy idiot_02 the same thing. Well I heard it that time and boy I was upset. Someone threatening to use the sidewalk in front of my store as the toilet is inexcuseable when there is a frelling Wendy's not 100ft from our location.
So fast forward to today..........
"Ken" comes in with one of his idiots (can't remember if it's the same guy)
and once this guy wanders back outside I inform "Ken" of what transpired. I proceed to let him know that should any of his "friends" say anything like this in the store again within my earshot they are going to get kicked out. I maybe a go-fer but I refuse to put up with that kind of acting out in my store. I will have you removed, period end of story. In 16 months of working at my store no one has ever threatened anything so stupid as that.
I have had things thrown at my head (missing my eye by inches).
I have been cussed out.
I have been told to do many things that my anatomy will not allow.

All "Ken" could say was that he wasn't responsible for the other guys actions. I said thats fine hon, this is an FYI though, because I will do it.
God, I feel good.
