I've had quite some fun trying to play with my Enchanter in the last few months... not buffing because everybody "had better" buffs already, not mezzing because it didn't matter if you used the most mana efficient nukes because they had plenty of mana, and in general, not getting groups because I wasn't needed...

Have any low/mid level enchanters experienced the same thing... and how is it now that they've taken away our high-level casted replacement?

(haven't been able to play for a few weeks, no internet connection for the summer unless I visit my family in NJ)

Well, there are now lower lvl Enchanters (or higher lvl Enchanters with their lower lvl spells loaded) casting Intellectual Superiority, Gift of Magic and Clarity or Clarity 2 for donations in PoK now as well as the higher lvl ones casting KEI, and I've also noticed that its easier for Enchanters to get groups lately. So you might want to give it a shot when you get back to your computer.

I was in DL last night, and there were quite a few Enchanters there.

I must say that I'm truthfully very happy that they nerfed KEI. I had the same problems finding a group with my chanter when I made a chanter FOR grouping (sometimes you just get sick of soloing).

After the patch it's much better. Suddenly chanters are wanted again in mid-level groups

It's kinda a shame, really, as my enchanter has been stuck at 45 for months after struggling to get there with every one and their pet having KEI all the time.. now with the nerf she's no more desirable since KEI lands of folks at 46 =P

I am glad that the low-end is now something of a chalange again, myself heralding from the days when clarity was the stuff of the gods and getting a C2 was an utter joy to behold. I've been poking around with my 28 warrior and the ammount of fun that goes into his fights is much more so since there's no long pauses for seeking out replacment KEI/Aego/etc and there's actually chalange in killing stuff.
