No such clause exists. You are not allowed to monopolize all the spawns...and neither are they, but that's it. Whether or not you get xp has no bearing on anyone's right to kill a mob.
heh, I went to look it up to prove my point, and couldn't find it :P I've had a number of people mention it (both people threatening to use it to evict me&my group from the area when farming, or as groupmates/friends trying to do something to get around it (like including a lowbie that does get xp)).

And the monopolization clause exists, but it's so general I wonder what could really be enforced by it. It pretty much outlaws the entire principle of "camping", depending on how you look at it. And since "Camps" are the de facto rules, and the monopoly clause are the on-the-books rules ... eh, rant for another time.

When newbies have come around to kill stuff, I generally try to avoid them and the spawns near them, to give um a little room. If they do too much "cherry picking" I'll start being a bit more aggressive after the shadelings (leaving more skeles up), but beyond that I've generally coexisted fine, even once or twice with similar level farmers (although that really slowed it down). The newbies generally leave pretty soon, but I do my best to not make them feel forced out.

What are they for? If I could get some kinda skill up... I'd farm em. And if I had extra I'd sell em for like 10pp.

I think the best way to make sure people don't sell the shadows for outrages prices is simply not to buy them.

For a time there I was buying 'em for 100p each... I've got 120kpp in the bank and I simply cannot just "buy skill".

For a Cleric, farming anything is a PITA. As a level 44 Cleric, farming the Shades in Twilight Sea is out of the question... Heck, I'm reasonably certain that my rediculously well equipped level 52 Paladin would have a tough time farming the dratted things.

I was also buying Humming Orbs for 100p each... but I haven't seen anyone selling those for quite awhile.
Angelsyn Whitewings, Cleric of Tunare for 66! Seasons.
          Grandmistress Smith - 300, Grandmistress Tailor - 300, Potter - 300, Jeweler - 300, Brewer - 200, Baker - 200, Fletcher - 200, Fisherwoman - 169
Keyne Falconer, Paladin of Erollisi Marr for 66 Seasons.
          Grandmistress Baker - 300, Grandmistress Blacksmith - 300, Potter - 200, Brewer - 139, Tailor - 91

As a wizard, farming in noob zones is very funny, and noobs are usually to flabbergasted by the scene to make complaints... (and if they do, TL Cazic ends their annoying banter..)

Run around with RS3, flux every living thing in sight, and Jyll them all. Takes less then a minute, 20+ mobs per pull, and after one or two times, the noobs GIVE you the stuff you want. Usually I ditch my lowbee stuff on them too, from SolA or CC farming, so everyone is happy.
