Not strictly a rant, nor really tradeskill related, but pretty primal nonetheless.
Dinged 60 day before yesterday, felt pretty good. Started playing with the advent of Kunark so a relative newb I'm sure, but only ever played the one character. My ranger, Teleanthus.
Well, felt pretty good about this, but suprisingly enough the following day I was invited to a Tactics group. Cool, thinks I, see if I can get a safe buffer into 60 today. 4 hours later, ding 61. On top of this, win rolls on 2 spec parchments and a Bloodmetal earring of rage, over the moon!
Finally leave tactics, over 15% of the way through 61, so a fairly safe buffer into 60 I feel, and go to do spell hand ins. Get Spirit of Predator and Frozen Wind, very happy with these.
The day finally took an even more surreal turn, when a friend sends me a tell and asks if I'm busy. No i say, whats up? We meet up in Nexus and he then proceeds to congratulate me on 61, and hand me an obsidianwood compound bow, something I've lusted after since the first was made. I was utterly, utterly speechless. Was almost afraid to log back in today in case my range slot was empty.
